Re: What pedal have you had the longest?
Mine was an Ibanez Soundtank Digital Delay that I purchased new in 1991. I don't use it much anymore but I still have it.

Mine is probably my Boss DD3. I've had it since 2000. It wasn't my first pedal, I had an HM2 that I loved before that but it was stolen and I never replaced it.

Re: What pedal have you had the longest?
Mid 90s:
Ibanez AD80 which I got by trading in my first “real” bass amp (some Crate combo with carpet) after moving back to Seattle after college (and switching from bass to guitar for the most part). I asked the guy at trading musician (Rob from Coffin Break) “what’ll make me sound like the Chameleons?” And he pointed at a $200 (!) chipped up pink pedal. (Things may have been easier if I’d just gotten a -cheaper- deluxe memory man: the AD80 is amazing but the DMM is closer to that sound; real answer is Roland RE-501).
Runners up:
Late 90s:
Tall font Russian big muff with about 55% paint missing, only 2 knobs, replaced battery clip, never had the door
Rat2
Early 2000s:
Big box DMM
(I’ve been considering making a 90s board...)

I've had a Rat since the early 90s. I don't have a lot of pedals, but I always liked my Rat.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Probably a tie between my Lovepedal Les Lius and my Deluxe Memory Man. Both have been on my board for at least 10 years. All other positions on my board have been swapped out countless times, aside from those two. Even tuner pedals.

Boss BD-2 was my first pedal like 20 years ago. Still it.

Re: What pedal have you had the longest?
Line 6 Echo Park. Brought it into the house before I owned an amp. 2004. I’ve rarely used it on a pedalboard but it gets much use on vocals, keys, and recorded guitars. The pedal that’s been on my pedalboard the longest is that weird Rat daydreamdelay built for himself and sold on here 9 or 10 years back. I can’t live without it. I even had the darned circuit traced out and cloned so I will always have one or the ability to make another.

My Rat 2 that I bought new circa 96.
My fourth pedal after a Rocktek distortion, Rocktek analog delay (technically still have this, by wife’s brother borrowed it about 5 years ago) and a Russian Muff. Traded the muff a few years ago. Way too many other pedals to list since then.

I got this SuperDuper 2-1 in 2007 and it hasn't left my board since. I love how it adds sparkle and definition to clean sounds and works great for pushing drive pedals or amps.

Early '80s big box Rat. Picked it up for $50 in the early '90s when it was just "old" and not yet "vintage". I also have an '86 or so small box Rat2 with an LM308 that sounds about the same. It's funny that those are basically the same internally as the coveted "white face" Rats, but you can get them for 1/4 the price.

Re: What pedal have you had the longest?
Even since I've started playing guitar in 1993 I started using my dad's old JEN Mr.CryBaby Super (which has since been on EVERY pedalboard, even now) and a silver-screw Boss OD-1, which I still have here. But he never asked them back.
Of my own effects the oldest is an amazing PEARL AD-08 Analog Delay my dad's bass player gave to me. Must have been around 1996. Retired it a couple years ago when the switch started failing... now I fixed it with DeoxIt.
After that... dunno lemme think. Probably the MIJ Boss SD-1 that i replaced my dad's OD-1 with. Still use it almost always.

My first pedal, purchased for $10 (with original box) at a pawn shop in 1996. I've since lost the box. : (

Re: What pedal have you had the longest?
I recently found the receipt for the first Russian made Big Muff I bought in 1997, I don't own it anymore, I gifted it to a friend when I moved overseas. He still has it, so technically I still have it in the sense that I could borrow it if I wanted to....
My GF has since bought me another one which is identical (there's a lot of variation in those old Russian pedals), so I kinda feel like I still have it anyway.... (although many years later this mint condition with original box one cost $400 second hand! Quite a bit more than the $150 new price)
