I like when the silverbursts go green like that. :D Your build sounds cool!!

I appreciate the build compliments. I was sorting through my guitar room pulling out guitars and amps I would let go of. Some of them are my custom builds. I will list them in the right area when the pandemic slows down. For now, I moved them out in the hallway.

With these moved out into the hallway, I finally have all the guitars left either in a gig bag, hard case, wall hanger, or floor rack. That hasn't happened in a while. I still have a ton of guitars left, but pulling out these twenty or so along with the amps was already tough enough on me. LOL

Wired up the pickguard today. It came with orange and white cloth wires so I used that for all the hot lines and I used black cloth wire I had already for the ground lines. Just need the pickups to come in. :)

Looking good so far!

Also...do I count 23 guitars that didn't make it into the "keeper" pile?? We're gonna need a "family photo" of all the keepers at some point!

Those pickups look almost like EB-0 sidewinders. Are those sideways coils?

They are Fralin hum-cancelling Jazzmaster pickups. :)

As for the pile, there will probably be more going into it. It is hard to put them there because of room and I don't want them to fall over. I believe there are a couple Jazzy styles in there. I did put an updated guitar room picture in the "show us your collection" or something thread. :) Still have quite a lot of guitars to go through.

Pickup nerd here. Yes, Fralin's noise-canceling JM/alnico-poled P90s have sidewinder coils. One of the few current implementations of coils at 90 degrees to the axis of the magnets. Good eye. I've been waiting to talk about this with someone, I first noticed it looking at photos about a year ago.

Long time no update. Still waiting on my MJT silverburst body, but the custom wizard profile bound block PST Guitars neck is finished and heading my way for stain and clear. It looks pretty awesome from what I can tell. Can't wait to have it in my hands!

Wow! That is super reasonably priced for a flamed maple B&B neck. They also look like they used the "proper" dimensions for the blocks. Great stuff.
