"Room for one more pedal" is the sentence that starts the apocalypse This is a really nice board! I love the sounds you've got access to. If it was me, that extra spot would be for a tremolo. I mean, you've got a tuner, compressor, 3 gain pedals, chorus, and 2 delay pedals. There's not much else you could really NEED, you know? Maybe a reverb?Severed Hand wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2020 11:49 pmI’ve got room for one more pedal... what should I throw on? I have a Ibanez AD80 that needs pots and to be recalibrated.

Re: your effects setup?
If you straighten that up, there's room for at least 2 more. I'd throw on a reverb for sure and maybe a trem.Severed Hand wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2020 11:49 pmI’ve got room for one more pedal... what should I throw on? I have a Ibanez AD80 that needs pots and to be recalibrated.

EHX Ring Thing. Does spaceships, rayguns, tremolo, vibrato, octave, polyphonic pitchshifting, chorus and of course ting modulation.

Tremolo seems like the obvious answer here.

Re: your effects setup?
If it were my board and I didn’t need tremolo a Swiss Things or other compact loop switcher would be my other top choice to cut down on noise/tone suck and reduce tap dancing.
One Control does one with 3 loops that lets you change the pedal order which would be super cool if you’re doing anything atmospheric/shoegazey.

Swiss blade might be fun was also thinking about kicking the boss re20 for a boss dd5 and a boss rv3. Did boss have a 80’s tremolo?

Re: your effects setup?
Boss PN-2 Tremolo/Pan... but they are very expensive on the second hand market... Unless you have money to burn or really want to pan, I wouldn't bother.

Re: your effects setup?
Today in the studio, it was the Jazzmaster and the Bass VI into a Nocturne Mystery Brain and a Mr Black Deluxe. Direct line into a Focusrite Scarlet and then to the computer (Reaper)
There’s a Baggs DI in the shadows, and a Radial Bones ABY to give a dry signal to record in a separate track, just in case I need to revamp or something.
The Nocturne El Pescadero wasn’t used for those instruments, but I love it on lap steel and slide guitar. The EB Vol pedal seen to the left isn’t currently hooked up to anything.

Strymon Flint, will fit perfectly and give you the only 2 remaining effects you'll really needSevered Hand wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2020 11:49 pmI’ve got room for one more pedal... what should I throw on? I have a Ibanez AD80 that needs pots and to be recalibrated.

Re: your effects setup?
Ended up getting a Boss RV6 and a MIJ DD3 to use as a stutter effect.
It would be cool to get a tremolo though.
Now I just need more power ordered a pedal power x4.
You guys ever run a muff or Proco rat at 12v?
I’ve been doing it lately and like it a lot cleans them up really well.

Re: your effects setup?
Think the boards done could use a tremolo but I don’t use that effect that much and my musicman has tremolo for the time being. Now I’m just waiting for the pedal power x4 so I can get the rv6 and dd3 off a wall wart.

Re: your effects setup?
NPD + NOPD!
Just got in this king of tone clone. Sounded so good I had to set up a whole new board around it.
DIGITECH RP360: wild card/looper. Set in stomp mode classic tremelo.
TECH 21 RK1 FLYRIG: sansamp for dirty boost, OMG distortion/clean boost for leads. Delay set for slapback.
TC HOF mini: set to TVL vibrato verb for some vintage sounding modulation.
DOD 250: classic preamp for some grit.
KOT clone [new!] nice pickup off of reverb (I think the guy is called From Montreal pedals? Nice build quality clone). Good bluesbreakery tone. Runs at 18V. 1st side set very dark (always on). 2nd side gain dimed for alternate lead tone.
DIGITECH POLARA: Going between room/plate right now. Stereo.
2 outs:
A: out to Vox AC30
B: BIG MUFF [new old]: Bought this 20 years ago. Haven't played it in a while. Finally took it apart and realized it's some odd circuit from 2000 designed by Fran from Frantone that was only produced for a short time. Always wondered why it sounded different from my other muffs. Dusting it off. (Previously in this slot MIDFI demo tape fuzz.)
Out to boss katana 100 watt on clean, essentially just a power amp for the king of tone. Set to the full 100 watts.

Re: your effects setup?
Been using this modest setup lately. I can cover a shocking amount of variety with these.
Dover Drive v2 (surprised this isn’t talked about more here)
68 Pedals King of Clone (now called "All Seeing Eye")
‘92 Bluesbreaker
Zoom MS-70CDR (amazing tones and value)
