Hm. I posted a record a couple of days ago, and it’s disappeared.

downy (from japan).
mathy dreamy indie rock. amazing drummer, amazing bassist, dreamy vocals, incredible visuals, guitar driven, beautiful music with electronics starting to burble underneath.
OSG really needs to know more about them.
their most recent album came out last week and it's incredible.

Re: Now playing... "what are you listening to right now" thread
A couple weeks ago, I thought I posted a couple records I was listening to, but when I returned later to see newer posts, mine weren't there. Hoping I'm not suffering stay-at-home psychosis. I'll blame xfinity internet.
Not listening to these at this moment, but very freshly. File under "forgot how much they influenced me":
Hoover - The Lurid Traversal of Route 7
The Crownhate Ruin - Until The Eagle Grins
One new one from my friend who rocks out up in Seattle:
Floored Faces - Escapism Prism
Since I'm trapped at home, I've been trying to broaden my horizons backwards. I gave these an honest, headphones in a quiet room, open-minded shot:
Grateful Dead - Workingman's Dead; American Beauty; Wake of the Flood
That will be my last try. I couldn't stop thinking, "Why didn't Jerry do another take?" Or "Is that really the tone Phil wanted?" Maybe I could dig Blues for Allah if a tighter band covered it. A tighter band with better guitar tone. Don't be mad at me, heads.
Anyway, I've been hitting these in the last few days, too:
Black Sabbath - Master of Reality
Various - The World Ends: Afro Rock & Psychedelia in 1970s Nigeria
And at this very moment, I'm listening to:
Wylde Ratttz - Wylde Ratttz
