I just saw this on the Anderton's site as well, it's a such great color! Fingers crossed some of these make it over to the US, I'd love to try one out.

Single pickup guitars are such great machines!
Does this have a standard tele two-pickup routing or is it a more solid piece of wood with only the bridge route?

Re: CV Squyre Esquyre
I’ve never heard of a Fender-made or -licensed Esquire body NOT routed for two pickups, so it would be interesting to see otherwise.

And everybody knows that extra pickup route kills all the TOANZ.

Re: CV Squier Esquier
HA! No doubt that neither routes nor finish nor type of wood has any bearing on the tone I get from a guitar. Good grief: my tone is clank clank sccranngg zzzzhhhhrrrrrrrr with lots of fretting out and buzz and a lack of attention to most things except try to hit a footswitch at the right time.
That said, when you remove the pickguard from a tele with only a single bridge route it looks cool cool COOL!

I admit they look nice, but I don't quite get giving up two of the 3 iconic tones of a Tele.
I mean, the other two positions are so good.

Sorry, I forgot to check my privilege. I'm clearly so rich in AlNiCo and copper wire that I forgot how other guitar players are forced to live.countertext wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 10:30 pmSounds like the words of a man who can afford two pickups! The 1% always hated Esquires!

Re: CV Skwier Eskwire
Wait, we’re joking around, but is any OSGer buying one of these? I would genuinely like to hear a review. I love Esquires.
