If anyone has a spare $6 laying around... here you go. Complete with photo and authentication from Gruhn's. Pretty rad.

That looks nice. Sunburst for approaching custom color money though, so you have to like Dan Fogelberg I guess.

They're on crack with that price. I sold an all original 1966 in the same finish last year for $2800...

I can’t think of a name guitarist with less significant provenance than Dan Fogelberg.

That adds about $0.00 to the value and GCG are out of their minds at that price...

Come on, guys. Dan Fogelberg! He did "Highway to the Danger Zone" in the 80's. Right?

Right?

And before that he did "Cat's In The Cradle" in the 70's. The man is a legend.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Please close this thread. Every time I see his name I hear “Eye YAM the lih-ving LEHHH-guh-see...” in my head and I’m ‘bout to jump off a bridge. Save me, Funkadelic!

Poor Dan Fogelberg-- reduced to a punchline, but then when you listen to his hit songs you realize that they are sort of 70s punchline songs. That is all I ever knew him as. I recognized one song that comes up on youtube, but the other ones, and the performances? Not my jam to say the least. You start to realize that while there are hundreds and hundreds of timeless classic songs written every decade, most of the music created is dreck, yet people have entire careers based off music that you can't stand.

More power to them I say! May Dan Fogelberg last forever (except he died in 2007). I guess there are like maybe, what, 200 people in the world that would love to have (and can afford) a signed guitar he used to play? Good luck with that. Most other people just want the guitar and have no interest in the cheeseball provenance.

Not my cup of tea at all, but credit to him for (a) managing to have a reasonably successful/profitable music career, and (b) playing a Fender XII way before it was being drooled over by guitar forum nerds (like us).

Cheers,
J.
