I was about to pull the trigger for a super sonic but now I'll just wait for that black sparkle! Looks so good.

Supersonics of every vintage go for crazy prices online, it's wonderful to have an affordable option again.

Not gonna let them pass me by again, they make such great mod platforms.

Unlikely that Fender would release a Squier Jag-Stang until after the new generation of Fender Jag-Stang IIs have been out for quite a while. What's more, the Jag-Stang II may never happen -- but it's also a possibility.
Um, do you think there will be a third run of the Jag-Stang from Fender, MIJ or otherwise? Cuz I'm thinking probably not.
Fender is looking into doing it. Everyone admits the original Jag-Stang released to the public was an absolute mess. But right now, the "proper" version of the Jag-Stang is just in the concept phase.
This sounds like you have some kind of information, any source?

I'm just thinking they had a chance to unf*ck it with the second run in 2003-2005. Fender's probably not heading back to the well for a third go at it just to try to get it "right". That guitar's wrongness is its nature.
I'm sure some Fender dealer in '64 looked at the new Duo-Sonic II and thought, "That's not a Duo-Sonic. That's a Mustang".

Why don’t you put the silver one back to stock and trade it to me for my surf green (with matchingheadstock) lipstick jag that you could just say is a lipstick jag version
An equitable and fair offer, to be sure, but I shall pass.

Both of those were silver sparkle, by the way. And both are super-far from stock. They are both now hardtails, for example. They would have to be re-routed, and other parts would need to be wood-filled.

I was thinking today that I have never put a Jag / Jazz trem on a Super-Sonic. Maybe my blue one? Get my Dremel out?

I mean I get it cuz it’s extra routing but yeah holy shit dude that’s like the first way I’d have gone haha

That Pink cyclone is actually the first new guitar in ages, I mean two decades, I might consider want to buy.
I imagine it with lipsticks or tri sonic or strat sized goldfoils pickups and I think it will not be long before I can't resist anymore.

I realize there’s no reason for you to believe me, but I’m afraid I cannot say anything else beyond what I’ve said — that some folks at Fender are looking into going back and getting it right, especially given the success of the KC Jaguar.

Wow wow wow.

I love the shell pink Cyclone. It's great they've made a cheaper Super sonic too but the bottom horn looks a bit off to me.

This is an amazing fucking line. Surprised by the JM Cabronita! Glad to see the Cyclone and Toronado back too. The Toronado especially killed any desire of mine to ever own a Gibson, and I hope people see them for the great rock platforms they are.

And they are very decently priced, too.
Man I love Squier.
Only hope the neck wood isn't plain pale white...

Just when I thought I had everything I wanted: bam, here‘s that offset Tele in a color I really like. Plus a Thinline Cabronita I need to tell my wife about. She has the Fender one with Filtertrons and will love this one. Why are the Squiers so damn interesting guitars these days?

Amazing - the Squier line is so much better than anything new Fender is offering. Love the Toronados and the Cabronitas. Just when I thought I really don't need any more guitars... :fp:
