That's actually an Elektrona, a more rare version off the Strato. I used to own one, too...
I believe this kinda headstock was only used in 1969.
i love delay SO much ...that i procrastinate all the time.

This looks incredible...so googling I found that the middle pickup has 6 individual coils, and those slider pots are an individual volume control for each string!?

Does it work? that sounds wild!

That's beyond cool. Also a huge fan of the spring loaded volume swell you see on a lot of Framus models from this period.

That is beyond cool! Why is that not a feature available on guitars today?

it's SUCH a good idea, and really nicely done. Only change I'd make would be to have it wired to a stereo output, ie be able to send each of the strings to a different amp :?

Check out the vintage Framus website.
They have listed all their old guitars there with a nice discription, year of release, etc...

Your's looks mid 60's, after the Strato took it's JM inspired shape (previous the looked like a strat meets LP kind of style) and your has the "Foot style" headstock, which is very nice! They made the Strato like yours in many different variants, from mid 60's until the mid 70's (when Framus got bankrupt after the invasion of much cheaper import Japanese guitars) (Although they are back since the son? of the Original owner who builds high grade Basses, resurected the Framus name for high end gear and custom shop models. But it's nice Framus is back)

The vintage Framus are very decent made guitars. Although replacement parts are hard to come by.
There is a German site (something like vintage guitar parts keller) which sell some parts, but these are very expensive.

I restored a few of these years ago when they were cheap and easy to find. Loved their 70's take on the WHRB Jazzmaster, even before sonic youth played such guitars....
