also: even in our boutique age, $200 seems like kind of a crazy budget for distortion, which tends to be one of the cheaper FX out there. you could get a Rat for $70 and spend your other $130 on something else, like delay/reverb. with today's mini-pedal options and the used market, you could easily get three good effects.
if something like this had been available when i first started playing, i'd have died and gone to heaven:

Special thanks for the clarification, now i agree with you.
When i wrote the first post, i hadn't known anything about the price of good distortion. I read some info, and guess what?..
*drumroll*
I thought about EQ pedal, not distortion one. I don't know why, but they mixed up in my head. Sorry for confusing you, that was my bad. As i said i don't savvy in this stuff, but even i was surprised with my stupidity.
What about EQ pedal? I read some articles about them, i feel shame for my mistake, so i have discovered more about pedals.
As i understood there are 2 most common brands of EQ pedals - boss and mxr. What can you say about them?
Also I'd like to know your opinion on reviews like:
https://equipboard.com/posts/best-eq-pedal
https://primesound.org/best-eq-pedals/ and so on. You know what i mean. Is it a good idea to buy something from reviews like these? Or it's just a commercial piece of trash with no usefulness for people, who want to buy good stuff?
