The clear pickguard pieces are done being backsprayed and cleared. They look really cool. The backspray on the clear material gives it a cool 3D look.

Put the tuners and string trees back on the neck.

I have been spraying the white body with satin clear. Almost done. Since I am not going to wetsand it, I am only going to put four coats on it. It doesn't need to be super thick and if it wears quicker, I am ok with that. ;)

Looking very cool (...icy) and neat! You really have a knack for picking on potentially cool designs that got dodgy headstocks & hardware from the the manufacturers and making them look a lot better.

Thanks! Peavey's headstock shape is really nice. It works well like Fender's but has points that fit pointy guitars. :)

Got some of the work done today. Wires are going through for the toggle. I got the pickups mounted. I am using the stock pickups from my Yamaha SG. Bridge, neck, and ferrules are on also. Just need pots, knobs, jack with plate, and switch.

Incredibly boss. I thought this was the coolest body style on Earth when I was 12. I still think it's really cool.

Oh man. I love that cheesy little plate behind the bridge. Icemans (Icemen?) look wrong without it.
Looking forward to seeing it completed, and maybe it'll be an opportunity to snap a family picture with all'em cool gueetars of yours?
