Compared to my Jazzmasters, the Electric XII is dead silent. Even the engineer at our last recording session remarked on how quiet it was plugged into a Benson Chimera amp -- which, BTW, is a brilliant sounding piece of kit -- wish I had one. I used it because my AC15 was fairly noisy in that setting.

I must have gotten lucky with my XII as I have none of the issues others have described.
I was gawking at that Sunburst Xii yesterday!
The Alternate Reality XIIs they have are priced $200 higher than the going rate. I guess those are a hot ticket item you can over charge for at this point though.CROSS_guitars wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2019 6:32 pm
I'm amazed at how Found Sound can keep their prices down.
I ordered mine from Derringers in May. At that point I was told I was something like 6th down the list, so I was unlikely to get one until the second round of deliveries. The last time I asked they said probably November for mine.... but it keeps getting pushed back so maybe not even this year
