I like pretty much everything about this build, even the maple fretboard I rarely like in most guitars unless the design and colour scheme will enhance it, just like you did.
The strat trem, the control layout is just in my favourite spots.
The colour is awesome and the whole instrument looks as neat as you can get. It's really a guitar I'd love to have in my arsenal and to play till blisters would stop my fingers :D
Another thing that I LOVE is the decal... I would simply add this to complete the theme:

It also screams for a custom etched neck plate to honour your craftmanship.

My most sincere compliments, ACE job.

Amon, I VERY MUCH like your headstock decal idea! I believe I'll start looking for some artwork online. Thanks.

Thanks guys... I'm glad you like it. I wasn't sure about posting as I didn't want it to be misunderstood as a critic but I guess the risk was worth taking :D

I'm so curious to see how you're going to complement the decal with... A meteorite? A shooting star? A rocket?

(hold on... I'm having an epiphany!! )

Amon, I found that exact Saturn artwork online, and will be having it made at the sign shop I used to work at. They did the AstroCaster decal, and can combine the two into 1 decal. Thanks for the great idea.

Mmm, nope... I'm not fully convinced of the general outcome but that Star Trek is kinda cool

(We posted simultaneously ;D )

Yeah, that Saturn was a quick google search, I would have send it to you if needed :)

You're welcome, sir... After all, I've been inspired by your own creation ;)

Pretty cool, but I think your original idea fits the space ("space"-get it?) better. I've found that often times an original idea turns out to be the best one.

I can't agree with you more... and, of course I get it: Star Trek logo has to leave space to the Lord of the Rings. :D

Just out of curiosity, where did you get the custom neck plate?
