Hello everyone. I’m looking to build a Jaguar based of this mustang
https://ericwallaceguitars.com/products ... er-mustang
As far as I know it’s daphne blue, but I’m not looking the new light looking tone that is used now. I want the paint that looks like that. Does anyone know the hex code So I can obtain that vintage look.
Cheers
Mustang colour help please.

Mustang colour help please.
We have wasted History like a bunch of drunks shooting dice back in the men's crapper of the local bar.

The original Daphne blue used by Fender back in the day: Duco 2804
That's your starting point. If you want to get the vintage look you'd have to spray some tinted clear to mimic the natural yellowing.
A quick search on google and I've got this as a HEX code:

I hope this helps.

Daphne blue with aged nitro clear. The clear has yellowed.
Look up MJT Aged Finishes. They can probably achieve that for you.

I’ve been reading that if I apply tinted clear coat it can green the guitar.
