This is awesome, Jonas! Well done.
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

And trumpet? and photography? is there no end to your talents? :)

Sounds really good!

Thanks guys! :)

The drum sound is the result of taping old t-shirts over the snare and toms, and removing the resonant heads of the toms and mic’ing them inside the shells.
On our first album we wanted a kinda Steve Albini-esque, open and natural sound, so this time around we went in the opposite direction.
The kit is nothing exciting, a typical 22+16+13 rock kit from the 80s/90s, I think it’s a Tama, but it’s been stripped and refinished and had some of the hardware replaced, so I’m not sure. PDP maple snare. The cymbals are whatever decent sounding hihat + ride I could find for under $200.

I wouldn’t exactly put trumpet under “talents” :D

We figured we needed to do at least one thing that most people hadn't heard before, and I think it works really well. The singer has only written in English prior to this, but I think these are the best lyrics he's ever written (you'll have to take my word for it ;)).
