Apparently this can happen either if the unit isn't getting enough amperage or if it's in a chain with a charge-pumped device. Here's my issue: I'm trying to run this thing off a power supply (Gator G-Bus8) with a Klone. I feel like I'm probably 2-for-2 on the "things that make this pedal unhappy" chart. I just took the Klone out of the lineup, and the squeal went away.
Suggestions on options/workarounds? I mostly use the pad setting on this device, so I've come up with:
• get it its own power supply
• use something other than the Klone
• use a reverb with a good "pad" setting that isn't this one
I really like the Klone, but I've been stacking an EHX Crayon into a Big Knob Rat Pak for 2 levels of distortion and liking that. Previously, I'd been adding the Crayon to the Klone.
I know about the Old Blood Darkstar as another pad option. Any others I'm really missing?

Re: MXR M300 squealing
Cheapest pedal fix ever. It just needed all the amperage from its own power supply.
