Great! So the pickups just needed new leads as I suspected?

Holy crap, what a transformation!! Incredible work man!!

I kind of liked the paint job, but not on a guitar, and certainly not on this beauty. I think your big pickguard idea on THIS burst would just be :? :? :? :?

Hey guys,
I'm a few months late for an answer but thank you for your comments  .
The good news is I still have the guitar and it ain't going anywhere. It's a joy to look at, to play and a joy to hear, soooo deep and resonnant!! It's actually incredible with fuzz.
I am particularly in love with how the G string sounds : it's magical, all the western movie songs + Brian Jonestown massacre leads + something else I can't describe in one string !
Now I'm looking at other Welson Playboy guitars ;)
