We suspect it make be a mistake. E-E spacing on the Am Pro bridge should be around 56mm, not 52.4mm (2-1/16"). Hopefully soon to be confirmed one way or the other ...

This Am pro bridge comes up often as the easiest 9.5 fixed radius option, so I suspect there are people here who have bought it. Perhaps they could measure it to confirm if it is 52.4mm (2-1/16") or not. If it is that narrow - like the Staytrem and the newer Marr bridge - that's important to know.

When the Am Pro JM and jags were released it was commonly reported that the strings tended to be very close to the edge of the fretboard, and sometimes slipped off. That bridge has the same model number as the aftermarket one, and at least one review quotes it at 56mm ..
"the saddles’ fixed 56mm spacing means both E strings are rather close to the edges of the neck on the upper frets. Maybe this isn’t a biggie, but again, we look to the Staytrem and Mastery bridges with their trouble-free 52mm spacing"

I have the American Pro, and it does in fact have the 56mm bridge. 55.56 to be precise.

I just swapped my late 2018 American pro jazzmaster bridge for a mastery. I never had a problem with the strings being too close to the edges, and I came from a jaguar w/ mastery. I’m lefty as well. I wonder if they changed it on the left handed models

My AM Pro was made October 2017. Maybe they did change it for 2018.

When they changed the Marr bridge to take the E-E spacing from 56mm to ~52mm, they changed the bridge's part number. No part number change seems to have happened with the Am Pro bridge since its original release. And no one here has reported E-E spacing on an actual Am Pro bridge as near to 52mm AFAIK - Riley's spec is the only place that suggests that possibility AFAIK ... but I'm not sure he obsesses about accurate E-E measurements quite like we do.

But we need to hear from someone who recently bought the 9.5" radius Am Pro bridge from Riley (or elsewhere), who can measure the E-E spacing. It would also be good to hear that E-E measurement from a 2018/9 Am Pro guitar.
