Yeah, seriously good work!

Kinda hard to believe, looking back, that you started with so little. Very impressive!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, your resuscitation skills are amazing, Will!

(I currently own two jags that benefitted from his resuscitations, though neither was in this kind of shape to begin with!)

Absolutely incredible work. That guitar should be called Steve Austin.

Hat: tipped.

For both your woodworking skills and the use of "Un-Voxing".

Also, it looks like the body is 81% original.

19% reissue tones.

...also, I looked at the weights again - the guitar body weighs 2 ounces LESS now that the body is all back to Jazzmaster-shape than when it was Vox-shaped. That wood putty was HEAVY!!

crazy! I fully retract my 'it'll burn nicely' comment from when it showed up on the 'why did you do this' thread. Unbelievable save.

so far so good! Really great work!

if it were mine, I'd be getting some original-esque pickups to go in there. But it's not mine, and I totally respect "it will never be close to original again anyway, so might as well make it into something I want."
Yes - it's one of my favorite thing about guitars like this - I can put the parts together how I want to, with no need to use scratchy 1961 potentiometers.

Primer time!

Despite my best efforts, I'm anticipating some funky finish cracks. Hopefully they'll add character!
