god I love Depeche Mode...I managed to catch them live this past summer...they completely ruled!

i went with a buncha girls who had 3rd row seats to the Devotional Tour

and haven't been able to go see 'em since!
cuz it'll never hold up to that...

it's been long enough... i really should go see 'em the next time around...

Once upon a time a BABE gave me a depeche mode Tour t-shirt.  It says DM on the back, and people ask me if its a dave matthews band shirt :-X

They're one of those bands I grew up loving, then discovered the name/all the other songs in adulthood.
I prefer their older stuff.

Love em. Like many folks of my generation they are the sounds of my youth. In fact all my fav fav fav bands seem to coincide with that era. I always explore new music, but none came come close for me to those bands. It must have something to do with the psychology of youth and the association with the music.
