Might also be of interest to our resident Bridge enthusiast Larry Mal since it's made in his home city St Louis and proudly says so in the post tops.

I was just noticing that! Seems to me that I had heard about that a little while ago. Looks like a nice bridge!

Sadly, if I owned a Gretsch of any quality, I have already decided on a Tru-Arc based on my research, but that other bridge might be worth a deeper look.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Well done! Happy birthday to you! I can also vouch for the quality of the Compton bridge as replacement for the stock bridge. You’ve got some great options if you like to tinker. I know I do!😀

Wow! :-* A bit like the comment a few posts back, I normally don't like gold hardware either, but all reservations are cast aside for these and Falcons. A beautiful resonant Tru-arc or Compton would be the business if you choose to go in that direction (aesthetically as well) although the Space Control has a certain cool factor too IMO. Those Japanese Gretches are beautifully put together- my friend had a Tennessee Rose that was flawless in all ways.

I am blown away by it still...what a cool guitar...it still does the overtones behind the bridge like a Jazzmaster or Jaguar, but due to the chambered construction (I think 85% of it is hollow), they are way louder.

Very expressive and chimey sounds!
