I got a pretty sweet weighted blanket, though. Had no idea they'd be so awesome at konking me out.
Does it really work? I'm terribly bad at falling asleep so I am really interested :)

Yeah, it does. It's kind of like magic. And if you crawl in while high strung, it'll relax you. I love the thing!

This sounds good except I sleep on my back and don't like anything pressing on my feet.

Korg Volca Keys, Jeff Tweedy's memoir, Lego Saturn V!
You win.

Hey, the win came when I met my Mikey!

I got a labelmaker so I can finally label my various power supplies.
I also bought myself a squier vm fretless jazz bass as a christmas gift but I just plan to swap necks with my grey squier jazz and then sell it on.

Hmmm, I got a clone of a Fuzz Factory but with three extra knobs, a Ramble FX Twin Bender, and a pair of vintage USA Fender labeled Sylvania 6L6 power tubes that are either STR 415 or STR 387.

Now I'm struggling to get three ge fuzzz to play nice on my board.
The Ramble bender is pretty great but I had been burning the paint off the walls running the FF clone into a RX Yardbox bender, and the Ramble does not like the RX at all.
The eight knob Fuzz Factory took some getting used to but I found the one added knob that cuts bass on the input side makes it very useful, and running it into the Yardbox I can get the whole crazy screeching mess into some semblage of control as long as I don't try to stop playing.

Bought myself an MXR Micro Flanger and a Crowther Hotcake for Christmas. I'm pretty amazed at how vicious the Hotcake can sound when it wants to. So far I've only tried it through my tiny practice amp at home, but should be fun at practice and shows this weekend :w00t:

So, I took the $$$ I got and bought a Moog Grandmother and a JHS Ryan Adams VCR Drive/Chorus/Reverb pedal.
That's awesome, Maggie. I really like the Grandmother.

Gifts bought for me:
- EHX Op Amp Muff
- EHX Volume Pedal
- an expensive pair of boots
- a gift certificate to the local indie record store

Gifts I bought myself
- Boss PS-3 (leftover birthday money from November)
- Walrus Fathom (technically a late present from the Mrs)
- Walrus ARP-87 (sold some pedals as part of the in/out rule I have, bought with some of the proceeds)
