Thank you. I'm usually not so much into modules but the keybed of the microkorg is just plain shit while the synth itself is still one of my favourites. It had to be done.

Great. Now I have to get some.StevenO wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 4:05 pmI'd love something like that. I'm surprised more companies don't offer modules like that. Sometimes the key-part of the keyboard is my least favourite part of a keyboard. That's certainly the case for Microkorg.
I know LCD Soundsystem has a system of about 4 or so chopped Microkorgs. Really cool. emphasis mine

Who is that? At first I thought it might be TOKiMONSTA, but it doesn’t look like her.
The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

Doesn't she spell it "Whang"? I think she does.

Yep. I think she'll forgive me though.
And what's more embarrassing is that I think it's pronounced similar to "Wong".

Yeah, wang and wong are just two ways of romanizing "王". And then there's whang, I guess.

Back to synths...
I didn't end up getting the Korg MS-20 Mini as intended. The used one I was looking at sold before I could get to it. Pretty okay with that. I really don't need anything else, just always wanting more toys.

Re: The Synth Thread...
I was just the other day in my local music shop and again played around with the MS-20 mini. I can't help but his thing feels so much like a cheap toy. All the pots are wobbly, everything is too small, there's no weight at all - for the money i would prefer to ditch the second oscillator and the multimode filter and get an old MS-10.

Re: The Synth Thread...
Honestly, I kind of feel the same way... But toys can be fun too, especially at the used price. But then again, if it doesn't last, then that's a waste of money...
I still played one, but also had a very difficult time getting any kind of usable sound out of the MS-20. Not sure what that was about. I know they can sound awesome!
I agree, though. I'd love a MS-10. Those seem really cool.

Re: The Synth Thread...
I've been thinking about picking up a second Arturia Keystep so I can have one running sequences and arpeggios into my Juno and another running into my Model D.
Anybody try this?
