I recall someone mentioning Cocteau Twins as good background music while housecleaning. Nice sounding & since she couldn't understand the lyrics she wasn't distracted by trying to sing along.

Re: Maybe you can help me with a playlist?...
I've actually been sifting through "shoegaze" tracks as I figured some of it might be pretty suitable.
Full disclosure: I listened to a couple of My Bloody Valentine tracks that I thought from memory would be perfect but they weren't. Just not quite right for what I had in mind.
Then, YouTube decided to auto-play a track that was perfect. Fucking Slowdive! A band I've never even liked. Funny old world!
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Nice but my inner OCD keeps getting pissed off at the acoustic guitar's volume drop around the 0:14 mark (which you'd probably only notice if you wore earphones so probably makes fuck all difference).
