I have a new arrival...I've had two of these in the past, and also a Tremorama.

Looking forward to plugging this puppy in! 8)

I suggest anyone owning a Super Duper to run it before your fuzzes and using the master volume channel, turn down the master and mess with the volume and your fuzz will behave as if you are actually adjusting the output.

Maybe hard to understand, but it’s more like actually changing the output versus the volume pot on your guitar.

Dear oh dear. In May I posted "I have just had zvex no. 5 turn up. Wah Probe, Fuzz probe, Ooh Wah II and Ringtone... just got the Wah Probe with SHO built in. Money no object and I would literally buy one of every handpainted pedals he's ever done - and the Candela of course!" The I bought the Super Duper 2 in 1 really soon afterwards.

Since then - Nano Amp, Lo Fi Loop Junky, Sonar, Fuzzolo, Tremolo Probe... and today I got to unwrap the Octane 3 that I picked up a couple of weeks back and gave to my other half to give me for Christmas!

Definitely out of control.

To go off on a tangent... does anyone know how the TB-1 and TB-2 tea ball mics work? From googling I can only presume it is some sort of noise cancelling thing going on, but curious. ANyone tried one?

hahaha, I know the feeling!

Zach posted a short video on YouTube a few days ago on the updated tea ball mic...have a look at it :)

Thanks but I meant - "how does the technology work". Since then I've done some research and there are a few methods, but I still would love to know how zach does it.

I accidentally bought a tremorama as well!

Ahh...I see...sorry, I am not technically advanced enough to figure out the mechanic of it :)

I do know the Tremorama is awesome, though....I got one when they first came out...here's a very old photo of my one...

Thought I ought to take some photos of my little collection - they're such beautiful and wonderful little items!

Just snagged myself a third Zvex, so I figured this was a good thread for it. Mine are all 2005 models. I've had the Laura Bennett painted Woolly Mammoth since it was new. I am aiming to get ahold of a Fuzz Factory (again... I've had 4 in the past :fp: ), a Super Duper, and a Machine. The new one is the Octane 3. I am really happy with it! After playing with it for about an hour, I turned on a silicon Fuzz Face and went, shit.. is this thing even on haha. The Octane is pretty intense. It's really responsive to the guitar's volume knob though and calms right down like a good Fuzz Face. I'll be able to get a lot of use out of it.

I was in the middle of a beautiful ZVex thread elsewhere (with Zhivago as well!) when I was excommunicated. But the good news is I have long been hunting for any Octane I or II and I finally have a II on it's way to me! I dearly love the Octanes and have several now. I'm also a bit obsessed with the sparkle finish ZVex pedals.

There's a red sparkle, Mandarin label Fuzz Factory selling for dirt on ebay right now if anyone's quick. I don't have the cash right now and I'm kinda pissy about it but I thought I'd share here.

Wish I’d seen this sooner. Although to be fair I couldn’t really afford it right now. I think this is the thread I found via Google and first brought my attention to this forum. I’m obsessed with the sparkle zvex pedals too and am on a constant hunt for a blue sparkle octane 3 after seeing one posted here.

Zvex pedals are just things of beauty. :?
