Thank you! That is the most recent acquisition. I'm not sure where I stand on the tort guard, as well as being unsure of the Creamery Jag-90 pickups with the 250k pots. The original pickups and pots were included with the sale, and I'm thinking of getting a mint green guard. We'll see I guess lol

For what it's worth, I think the tort looks great. I've got some Creamery pickups on the way for my (Squier) Jag, incidentally.raindog13 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 31, 2018 3:41 pmThank you! He certainly makes a lot of pickups for them! I'm just not sure about the sound of these ones, and I can't figure if they'd sound better with the original 1meg pots back in, or if I should just say screw it and put the stock 65's back in.Stephen_42 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 31, 2018 3:49 pmFor what it's worth, I think the tort looks great. Well if you've got all the parts and you know what you're doing, it won't cost you anything to try out all 4 possible combinations, and go with whichever you like best! If you've already got another Jag that you're happy with, personally I'd lean towards making this one different. But it's up to you at the end of the day!

Re: Post pics of your guitar family
Yeah, that's what I've told myself. I love the sound of that white one, which is essentially a Classic Player, but it's good to have a different sound. I'm just not sure that those Jag-90's are that sound. The CP's have hotter pickups in them, so the '65 with the stock pickups in it would likely still be different enough. Looks like I may have some soldering ahead of me lol!Stephen_42 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 31, 2018 4:10 pm

Loving that sonic + tort. Mint is classic for sure but your particular tort works very well with the slightly green SB. They sure got the paint right on these.
