Thanks to both, Shadow and hpr_hpr!!!!!!!!!
I will build it and upload some pictures, on the next free weekend.

@Shadoweclipse 13
Dude, here's a wiring thought I had in an idle moment...
Stratocaster, I never use the bridge pickup on its own, but one click on the switch to bridge/middle = sonic Nirvana!
So I wondered if I could use a four way blade switch (instead of the usual 5) to give; neck, neck/middle, middle, middle/bridge, with one master tone?
Thoughts? If its possible I'd appreciate a sketch on a napkin (or similar!)
Cheers!

Re: Shadoweclipse13's Master Schematic Page!
OK with Oak Grigsby 2 pole 4 way lever switch as long as you want the PUs all in parallel:
Both commons (A0 & B0) go to the volume
All PU coil start go to GND
A1 & A2 are connected to neck coil end
A3 is open (unconnected)
A4 is connected bridge coil end
B1 is open
B2, B3 & B4 are connected to mid coil end
position: 1 = neck, 2 = neck + mid, 3 = mid, 4 = mid + bridge
I don't think it can be done with the pickups in series on this kind of switch .. .. .. if you can find a 3 pole 4 way lever switch (or a rotary) OR use a 5 way super switch . . . in which case you can have 1 other option (all 3?, or some parallel and some series)

Thank you!
Retard question - are single coils usually wired in parallel?

Re: Shadoweclipse13's Master Schematic Page!
Wouldn't it be simpler to have a 4-way switch for N/M (classic wiring like a Tele), and either a mini toggle or a push-pull for B? Then you'd have twice the options:paulnb57 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 04, 2018 10:05 pm[...]Stratocaster, I never use the bridge pickup on its own, but one click on the switch to bridge/middle = sonic Nirvana!

- N
- N/M in parallel
- N/M in series
- M
- N + B
- N/M in parallel + B
- N/M in series + B
- M + B
(B will always be in parallel) (actually, using a 4PDT 3-way toggle, it may be possible to add a B-in-series option, but I haven't tried it, @Shadoweclipse13 may confirm/deny )

Re: Shadoweclipse13's Master Schematic Page!
I'm not the best with blade switch designs. I think the 4-way Tele blade wired like a Marr Jag is a great idea, but I don't usually design things with blade switches unless someone asks for one. I've had too many fall apart during soldering on me too. Haha.

Re: Shadoweclipse13's Master Schematic Page!
And with an on/on/on DP mini toggle (or 3TDP slider) you can have the bridge as series/off/parallel ... and have 12 possibilities . . . . . . and with 2 pRails you can make 4+16+16+4 = 40 combinations ... add in an phase switch and that's another 32 for a total of 72 (and yes my JM is wired so it can do all of them) ... I DROWN in options (even without the switchable treble bleed and tone cap) and honestly only use a couple (it's sometimes fun to play with the rest but quite a few are sonically almost identical). More options isn't always better ... in fact my Salvador is intentionally wired series/bridge/parallel/neck without a phase switch just because the 'beast' is/can be so overwhelming ...
I started out with: lets wire it so I can do every option just because I may someday want it ... I've abandoned that and changed to: try it but if you can't think of an immediate use don't put in another switch for it, if you want it badly enough later you can always go back, but chances are you never will.

Re: Shadoweclipse13's Master Schematic Page!
Hi, so I’m a wiring noob and needing some help with the wiring I have in mind. I’m upgrading both pups in my JS. In the bridge I’m putting in a Seymour Duncan P-Rails, and in the neck a Lace Chrome Dome. (Two slide switches and Tone and Vol.)
What I want to be able to do if possible is wire the neck switch to toggle between the neck/neck+bridge(parallel)/bridge. The bridge switch I want to wire to split the p-rails, rail/humbucker(series)/p-90.
So, what I need is a diagram if possible and some advice about the switches. I assume i’ll need two 3-way on/on/on slide switches?
Any help is greatly appreciated

Re: Shadoweclipse13's Master Schematic Page!
Much appreciated.
I was thinking today that I might put a DiMazio Area 67 in the neck instead of the Lace if that makes a difference.
