Ok, so I have a record player, just a cheap Crowley, one of those suitcase deals you can get at Target. It has a tiny amp and built-in speakers already. But I also have an Ampeg 2x15” speaker cabinet.
Can anybody help me find a little amplifier that I could plug the headphone jack on my record player into it, and then go to a 4 ohm output to the bass cab?

Off the top of my head I can't think of anything ready-made that would really be suitable, as I presume you'd want it to be mono and fairly powerful. The first solution that springs to mind would be to buy a cheap old PA amplifier (the sort where you can adjust the gain on the inputs for a turntable/mic/CD player/whatever), and wire it directly to your record player's cartridge.

I'd suggest throwing away that cheap player before you destroy your vinyl with it! Find a good quality used deck and build a dedicated system.
Not what you asked, but it's something someone else would doubtless have said.

^That too. A customer of mine once brought in a Crosley for repairs and the back of the lid scratched the record as it turned round.

Well I definitely hear you guys on that point. I don't feel like my Crosley has ever ruined any of my vinyl, but I'll be careful with it. I don't actually use it that much, and an amp that I could plug my phone or computer into would be just as useful, maybe moreso. I just figure I already have the speaker cabinet, I just need an amp with an input that will work. Doesn't even need to be that powerful.

Probably a powered mixer with phono and line inputs would work best for the scenario you describe, and leave the door open for a turntable upgrade.
