I've got a great idea to get sales numbers for books up again- we'll take several classic novels, chop chapters out of them and reassemble them randomly! Here's the 2018 lineup:
All Quiet On The Wuthering Heights
War and Peace and Pride and Prejudice
Lord Of The Great Gatsby Flies
Jane Eyre 1984
See you at the bookstore!

Re: New Fender Meteora offset at NAMM?
they built an excellent batch of telemasters already, called Offset Telecaster. i bought one a year ago, and you still can find some now.
it really is a great quality build for a big company, perhaps due to the simplicity. the guitar sold itself when i demo'd it. i put it away for a few months to focus on a certain gig, and just brought it out again recently - still really impressed!
BUT i hear ya - i think the question is: why Telecaster pickups/sound for such an experimental look?
hopefully they are keeping the build quality up on these strange new offerings... while there's nothing for me among these, it may just be a matter of time before their 'random-style generator' spits out the right combo of parts again to reach me.
Cat Museum, ACME, Malcolm Mooney, Dream Apes, The Cooling Time, Kind Hearts and Coronets, Quarks

aaaand, here's my take on the Meteora. forget the standard Strat headstock, IT DOES NOT WORK, wether upside down or not. this headstock is from the John 5 Tele, which is IMO a perfect fit, and a stab against Gibson

You're right , and it would be easy to have a 12 string version.

I concur. That looks fantastic. Still too much Teleness, though.

Made in US, nitro finish, and I think US pricing on all of these is either $1799 or $1899.RandyRandom wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2018 2:22 amanybody already know how much they are going to ask for? and where they make it? US? Korea? China?

I can't say I like the looks of it. But I can say that I REALLY dislike black inlays on a maple neck. It's just wrong.

Whoah, I opened this thread for the first time since I first saw it, and I thought "man, this thing isn't nearly as bad as I remembered."
Then I realized you fixed it up.
Looks way better!

I’m with jpuva. I don’t like black blocks on maple either. While I’m at it, I’ll dog pile it. I dislike any blocks, binding, matching headstocks, and tort.
