Just a boring modern Proco RAT. Nothing fancy about it, but it gets the job done.

I'm thinking of getting some pedals next year though, maybe a Crowther Hotcake and an RSH-03?
The only rat I ever liked was the old school non led version I got to use in the studio a while back. But, if it works, it works. I wouldn't mess with it if it's doing what you want it to do.

Going to add to the Broadcast love. It's always on and then the high gain mode is a perfect rhythm distortion. Love it.

So happy to hear all the Broadcast love. I got some money for Xmas, and I'm thinking about picking up a two switch version for bass, to go along with my SS/BS Mini...

The two switch is a must, Having thats separate control for the high gain channel makes it a whole new pedal.

Most used is probably my Russian big muff. Although a late addition is a super duper 2 in 1. That at least one channel is always on.

Good to know. It looks to me that for an extra £10-15, it has everything one-switch version has, and more. I'd hate to lose out on a cool function...

Also the 2-stomp version puts the 9v jack between the input and output whereas the vanilla one goes l-r 9v, output, input. A little thing but could mess up arranging a board around it.

You're like me then Bill. Little things like that drive me nuts. I've been looking at possibly replacing my EQD Hummingbird with a Walrus Audio Monument (or having both) since the Monument has that really cool momentary mode, but I think it's annoying that the power jack is on the left side when 4 1/4" jacks are on the back.

Man, the goddamn vexter pedals have the 9v really close to the input that made arranging a board around the box of rock or distortron a real pain.

The smaller pedals from T-Rex are on the right edge near the back when the jacks are on the back.

I'm looking to grab a Malekko Sneak Attack and rehouse it with the extra footswitch inside for that exact reason too. The right side of the Sneak Attack has the input, the power, AND the jack for the accessory footswitch...

Boss DS-1
Only use it for noise sections in songs. Would have something better but I'm 14 so yeah.
Saving for a Devi Ever or something else for 2018.

Honestly, it’s not that bad of a pedal. Dial back the gain and play with the eq and it can do a lot. It and my Blues Driver sound scary good through a Jazz Chorus.

It's the same slightly modified Rat that I bought on here in 2012 from Daydreamdelay that he built for himself then sold. I finally conned someone into helping me figure out how to clone this pedal, as no "good Rat clone" I'd heard sounded quite like this one. Not an Alpha Dog, not a Woodcutter, not whichever model the Walrus Audio one is, etc. Got tired of throwing money at other Rat clones and just cloned mine. I've got a few of mine so that way I'll never be without my "sound".

I used my Big Muff Wicker loads this year. Got a squier Jag for Christmas, and can already see that I’ll use my RAT way more next year. It squeals a lot less and sounds a lot better than the muff does with single coils.
