Your Most Used Dirt Pedal of 2017
So which dirt pedal did you use the most this year, how was it different from last year, will you be looking for something new in 2018...
previous thread: offsetguitars.com/forums/viewtopic.php=most+used+dirt+pedal+of+2014
was meant to do this every year but I forgot.

That's a tough call. I've redone my dirt lineup over the last 6 months, replacing Timmy and Rat clones with a SSBS Buzzz and Fuck pairing (and then into a SHO and DLS). I probably use the Fuck more, but the Buzzz is super versatile.

Madbean Moar by a wide margin. Just a great sound with lipsticks.
I just got an Archer Ikon and that will probably see some more action in 2018, hopefully with a new project.
Might pick up or build a FA-1 clone or something Echoplex-flavored to pair with the Archer and make things a little meaner.

Same as last year and the year before, my $29 DeltaLab Tube Driver. Usually my only pedal and I turn it on maybe once a month, the rest of the time I'm in love with my Peavey Classic 30's preamp drive.

Magnetic Effects White Atom was my most used and new this year. Probably my Arc Effects Soothsayer after that. I suspect in 2018 I'm gonna be playing bass more than guitar, so that would mean SS/BS Mini will get played most next year...

Same as it's been for the past 10 years, Fulltone '69 and Fulltone OCD. can't seem to knock them off the board. The '69 especially.

10000%
For me it’s become a near always-on pedal for sparkly boosty duties, and when kicked into high gain mode with a Distortion + or EQD Speaker Cranker stacking into the mix it becomes the most gloriously saggy, unpredictably ragged, and fucked up fuzz pedal in my arsenal.
Latitudes of sonic territory in that little box.

D*A*M built Sola Sound Tone Bender MK4. Picked it up mid 2016 and so far has been worth the $$$

Ever try it on bass? I've been thinking about a second gain for the bass, and just found the Hudson Broadcast V2 (with the high gain footswitch).

I haven't tried it but I expect it's an interesting fuckest-uppest fuzz in high gain mode.Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 5:36 pmEver try it on bass? I've been thinking about a second gain for the bass, and just found the Hudson Broadcast V2 (with the high gain footswitch).
