It was pretty reasonable. Still ~$200 CDN less than buying a comparable American Pro Jaguar or Jazzmaster off the rack here, and I got to choose my colour and add a couple things - painted headstock and pearl pickguard were upcharges, but nothing major - so I'm looking forward to it.
2017 G&L Doheny (Tangerine Metallic)
2015 Fury Fireball (Transparent Red)
2012 PRS Studio (Evergreen)
2011 G&L SC-2 (Himalayan Blue)
2009 Fender Telecaster (Sunburst)
2014 Traynor YGL1

They're live on the site now.

Not sure how I feel about this. It's more appealing to me than an American Pro, but that isn't saying much.

Why can't Fender do this?
The Doheny can be ordered in any factory finish: G&L USA Finishes

G&L USA Guitar Options are as follows

There is only one guitar company that still builds guitars at 2548 Fender Avenue Fullerton, California 92831 and it's G&L.
Man, they offer contours for their ASAT model. I wish there were more companys doing this, at least the "Tele Deluxe" back contour...

I notice you aren't using your B-bender?
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

You have to remove the hip bar to put the guitar in the case.

Sure, it didn't look you had it strung, though, but maybe I can't see it.

I have a Hipshot bender and dislike the hip bending unit (mine also has a palm bender that I do like).

Busy blues noodling aside, sounds damn good!

I hope the pickups are made available on the G&L store. I've always wanted MFD pickups to suit the Jazzmaster.

I would have loved to hear them surf or shoegaze on this thing, come on! Still, sounds great, don't it?

I would have liked to hear more strummed chords. Demo people seem to forget that one little simple thing quite often, eh?

The pickups should be available, MFDs are my favourite pickups and these seem to have that same beautiful response.

The B bender is indeed strung. Doesn't mean I use it, lol!

I would like to hear less stupid blooze noodling and shreddy bullshit, so I guess I agree with you?

It sounds pretty nice from what I can tell, but meh. I still don't really want one.

Me too. Seems like a good Guitar but would like to have also heard how it handles Surf & other styles of music.
