NGD Thurston Moore Jazzmaster
Hello offsets addicts !
I'm proudly show you my new Fender Jazzmaster Thurston Moore !
She plays like a dream, and I love this green forest color !
At first I was looking for a sunburst Avri 62, but here in France, they are very rare and out of price (for me), I'll try to find a Japan one, but they are still expensive too !
A week ago, I found that guy on Reverb, Ahmed ( very nice and cool person ), living in Amsterdam who was selling this JmTM.
I'm not in fan system / addict or that kind of thing, even if I'm a long time listener of Sonic Youth and what comes after.
But Ahmed was selling her at a cool price for me and he accepts to send her by mail, so here it comes

Nice guitar here! I switched to the mastery on my Johnny Marr jag and haven't looked back.

If I was a byrd, I'd be mighty sore every time they shut the door and I don't think I'd sing...

Very, very nice! I love those. I'd have to build one from Warmoth which is where Thurston got his from.

Re: NGD Thurston Moore Jazzmaster
Really I didn't know that !
A friend of mine built a Lee Ranaldo from a MJT Body and an Allparts Neck, Mastery bridge and Lollar Wide Range , it's a real beauty too and sounds great !
The funny thing is how the SD Antiquity II sounds different on my TM and on the Squier I've got (the one on my avatar pic) , much better on the Fender, maybe it's the body, I don't know ... but it's clearly different !

I love the simplicity. No caps right? Just switch & volume. That's cool.

I don't look yet under the pickguard to check wiring, but yes I think there is no cap !
It's not an issue for me, because I 've never used the tone pot on my guitars, no need for one !
But I'd like to test the 2nd Jazzmaster circuitry but it's not really important to not have it !
Yesterday, with a friend we recorded some noise/larsen for a song, and she was great at this job
