There is a thread on TGP talking about replacement speakers. You need a custom made one from Weber to fit. Here is a different thread from a guy selling one

https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index ... e.1659196/

I'm sort of considering one as well. I have an AC4C1 that sounds a bit to small for my tastes. Debating between one of these or just getting an extension cab with a 12" Blue for it...hmm

There was a Biege AC10C1 with a Celestion Greenback & upgraded Tubes on Reverb that I just missed that went for $399.00.

Some of the guys on You Tube say new Vox Amps all come with crap Tubes & should be the first thing you change. Luckily there are only 4 Tubes. 2 12AX7's & 2 EL84's.

I think the crap Tube thing might be true of most major brand new Amps.

I will agree about the tubes. My AC4 sounded way better after swapping in some new tubes.

If it was me - I'd just snag one of the options from here I that I was comfortable with paying.

http://www.thetubestore.com/Shop-by-Amp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... 0C1-Custom

I have something equivalent to the low end package in my AC4 and I'm happy. But I saw no point in spending half the value of the amp on higher end tubes on a lark.

If not - I'd go ask on the Gear Page amp forum.

I just checked it out. Thanks.

I noticed that all my Fender Amps have loads of Tubes???

Example my 15 Watt Vox AC15CC1X has 4 Tubes. My 12 Watt RI 65 Princeton has 7??? What the???? My Twin has 12!!!! It's like a Couple hundred Bucks to replace Average priced Tubes!!!!! A Vox AC30CC2X has 7.

Why do Fenders need so many Tubes? They don't sound any more powerful or better????

Sweetwater got a load of these "Special Run" Vox AC10C1 with Celestion Greenbacks Friday. They were sold out immediately. My name was too far down the list to get one from this batch. Sucks! My Rep called & said I'm at the top of the list & they should have the next batch in about June 29th. Seems like it's taking forever to get this Amp!!!!

Preface; I have several Amps ranging from 12 to 100 Watts. I've been wanting a small, light practice, Studio & travel Amp.

My new Vox AC10C1 with Celestion Greenback Spkr is finally on it's way!!!!!!!! Should be here in a day or so!!!!! After 6 months I wasn't sure it was ever gonna make it??

I've ordered a Set of matching JJ's that I'll be adding to it.

Can't wait to try it out!!!!

Lars
