Hello from Freiburg
Hello from Freiburg,
this is a really nice board with a lot of cool guitars and many friendly people.
I am usually a Strat + Les Paul Player and I didn't pay attention for the offset guitars for a long time.
Till there was a guitarist named Robert Buras (Madrugada), who had a dark sounding and bell like cleantone. He played mainly a mid 60's Jazzmaster...

Re: Hello from Freiburg
Welcome! Being an offset player/modder is a real pain in germany. Especially searching for parts can be very annoying. So it's nice to see more people to have a bigger community here! I'm not far away from you (Schwäbische Alb).

Offset is new for me. I have seen the choice for offset guitars is not very big. I am looking for a car or fiesta red jazzmaster, can't find except for japanese models.

Searching for YOUR offset in germany/europe means having patience...
by the way: I'm searching for a shortscale neck, if you stumble over one...

Re: Hello from Freiburg
Willkommen!!
I lived in Freiburg im Breisgau for a year and a half. One of the greatest places I've ever been in my entire life. I hope I get to go back there someday.
I miss the cafes and the forest trails. Also miss the Zwiebelkuchen and Early Wine (can't remember the German word for it).
Uni-Freiburg was cool too. So many great memories.

Freiburg is a nice place to live and its near to the French and Swiss neighbours.
Most (Moscht, engl. Mosht) is the early new wine.
