Man, I wanna go to a store called Princess Auto! :D

+1 on the stepped bit. That's all I've ever needed for pedals.

Expect when I drill for 3mm LED holes. For those I use a normal bit.

Damn, should have checked Canadian Tire. The cheapest I could find was $24 for the bit I needed at Princess Auto.

Not too bad.

had an idea for a fuzz pedal. I'll never actually build it, so if any of you like it...feel free.

Just started assembling my new Li'l Triangle Beaver pedal this morning. I'm adding a Flat Mids switch to swap out C9.

There's just enough room for a mini-toggle in there under the Tone control.

More pics to come.

Built this Electra-based overdrive last night. THIS is the one I've been waiting for!!
Man, it sounds great :w00t:
I'm going to try building one with LEDs for clippers - kind of excited to try - I should've just socketed this one, but I was too impatient

@stilwel, I can't begin to imagine building something that small :wtf: Amazing work!

Parry, I don't if I've said it before, but your design aesthetic of the plain and smooth enclosure with a simple colored label is seriously the stuff of my fantastic, science-fictiony dreams. So hot :? :-* 8)

So i've been working on a Fuzz Factory clone using this schematic...

http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.co.uk/2 ... ctory.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The only thing i've changed is swapping out the AC128s for Silicon 2n3906 transistors (which i've heard and seen work in other builds).

Everything seems to be working fine apart from the output volume being incredibly low, i'm talking cranking a JC160 and still barely being able to hear it quiet.

Its not hooked up to a switch yet its just the circuit wired up to an in & out jack so its not a switch issue, i've double checked the jacks they're both fine, i'm not sure what else could cause this?
This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I've made 3 little utility pedals from the same colored 125B (kind of between a gunmetal and charcoal frost, plus it's textured and bumpy!) for my board that I'm really happy with. REALLY solid little boxes. I've never had any that the cover plates fit on so well...

Image
The middle and right one are both true bypass loopers, so I can turn on or off all my gain or delay pedals at once (one for each). The one on the left is super cool. It's just a simple passive AB pedal, BUT, because my board has two boards for what the pedals sit on instead of one big chunk of wood (I did this for weight relief, cost savings, AND routing of cables), I have the input jacks on the bottom of the pedal. As an AB pedal, it works both ways, but I'm only going to use it to switch between my guitar and sound effects/slide guitar.
