Re: Pink boxes
Considering how much I love pink, it's surprising that I've only got the one...

Re: Pink boxes
I still love that thing!! I've had it for 15 years.. the longest of any pedal I own now. It survived it all! I did sell my first Big Cheese and bought another last year. I have been through an unbelievable number of fuzzboxes in my time, but at this point, I can do 90% of what I like with just the Big Cheese. It's so easy to tweak, but can still do such a huge range of tones. I always wanted a Cheese Source. I remember when MusicToyz was selling the last few pretty reasonably. My Ring Stinger is still on the board!fuzzjunkie wrote: I was wondering "why no pics of the Lovetone RingStinger?" That is the only pink pedal I have as all my delays are silver or black.

The LOCOBOX sounds pretty identical to a DM-2.

Re: Pink boxes
I had a DM-2, bought new when they came out, I wish I knew where it was now - went into a friend's collection and has long since been lost to time.
I have one of those flat box AD-80s as well. No other pink pedals though.

Early LOCOBOX (like the one I posted) are late 70s and Made In Japan. To my ears, it sounds the same as a DM-2.kosmonautmayhem wrote:Loco box?! That's awesome! Never seen one of those before. Rebranded AD-80 or DM-2???
Here's a website about LOCOBOX http://www.locobox.com/
Apparently, they are quite hard to find and have something of a cult-following.
