Here's what I did over the weekend. It's a Skreddy Screwdriver clone and the layout is from Madbean. Sounds fantastic

(Here's a little gif I put together of populating the board. Couldn't get it to embed properly)

Been working on the graphics for some 3-in-1 pedals i'm going to be building. Got these printed the other day and just waiting for them to arrive.

Re: The D.I.Y. thread.
Getting a bit more confident/quicker.
I managed to sneak this build in, last night.
It's a pretty basic OD, but it has cool glitchy artifacts in the decay.

Re: The D.I.Y. thread.
I converted this XP-200 to an XP-300 Space Station. Sounds great!
Also replaced the crappy plastic switches with some real momentary footswitches.

The 200-300 conversion or the footswitch replacement?s_mcsleazy wrote:i've been kinda curious about this mod. how is it?
Both are actually pretty easy and work as expected.
The Space Station is a fun pedal. Not sure how often I will use it, but it's fun to have around and infinitely more useful than the 200 Modulator.

Re: The D.I.Y. thread.
The mod itself is very easy. You just have to find the parts. To convert an XP-200 you need 3 RAM chips (with sockets), 3 10uF Tantalum caps and an EEPROM chip. There is a guy on DIYstompbox.com that will burn the chip for you. Honestly, the "hardest" part was getting the residual solder out of the unpopulated PCB holes for the RAM and caps. I recommend installing 18 pin DIP sockets for the RAM chips.s_mcsleazy wrote:the 200-300
The RAM and EEPROM are widely available on Ebay.
