Yeah it's blown my mind. I didn't realise the link I made was different/longer to the album version and now I need this version really bad, sadly it was 100 copies only and it's nosebleed enducingly expensive but I've managed to get one through phoning around at a price I'm OK with.

Bourbonese Qualk - Lies (Ancient Methods Remix) with a shot of The Last Words of Hassan Sabbah.

I am loopy for this and the Ancient Methods re-editof the original (they just make it longer)

Elysia Crampton - Moth ft. Money Allah incredible life affirming seven inch on Boomkat editions (digital too if you don't do vinyl). I've been waiting for someone to upload a linkable upload so I could share it.

So, some 25 years after first hearing it I realised yesterday that the letter shouted out in the middle of the Pixies song, Cactus, are P...I...X...I...E...S.

Sergius Golowin ‎– Lord Krishna Von Goloka (73) is a whole album of spoken word kosmische folk wonder. Recorded by a full on Afghan clad kosmic super gruppe incorporating Klaus Schulze of the mighty Ash Ra Tempel and prog folk acoustic alchemists Bernd Witthuser and Walter Westrupp (fresh from dropping the great Trips + Träume), all marshalled by Ohr honcho and all round production machine Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser.

I remember pulling this out a cardboard box marked KRAUT some time in the early/mid 80's, I thought it might have been an orphan from a classical box because the sleeve had that dressed down 70's classical look about it and I'd recently bought my first terrible 70's German record by Gomorrah and was a wee bit worried I'd already bought all the good stuff but flipping it over revealed a Sergious being blasted with some heavenly light and when when I spied with my psychedelic eye the name Klaus Schulze and recognised the Die Kosmischen Kuriere label (which later morphed into Ohr) I knew I was sailing into a safe harbour. Later on I bought another pressing of this which came in a kaleidoscopic neo Egyptian sleeve laced with magic mushrooms with a big QUADROPHONIC sticker on the front which was maybe a clearer visual indicator of where this Mellotron sorcery is intended to take you.

I've little clue what Golowin is going on about her since my German isn't up to much, it may or may not enhance the experience, for me not knowing what he's rabbiting on about (other than the Krishna bit) adds to the magick.

(((((((Whole elpee in all it's Kosmic wonder.)))))))

Oh dear, no love for Sergius Golowin, I'm missing Ex Lion Tamer, he'd have been on this train for sure.

Anyway...

Something old

Diamanda Galas - This Is The Law Of The Plague Not really a record for playing around your pets, weirdly I was filling up the other day (up in the middle of nowhere) and this was playing in the car at the next pump, obviously the woman playing it rejected the Top Gear Seriously Cool* Driving Music (*letter in the post to Trading Standards) CD next to the till.

Something new

Prurient - Greenpoint this elpee is almost overwhelming to listen to in one bite, amazing stuff.

FYI there's an excellent vinyl comp of her singles out at the moment. 300 only so they won't last long.

Jacqueline Taieb - The Swinging Mademoiselle
