That's a weird bunch of acts on the bill - the last time Extreme and Bobby Brown were in any way relevant/successful was before JoJo was even born...
Thanks for all the compliments duders!
It's gonna be cool!!!  I guess I could do that w/ the sw. plate...  hmmm.  I dunno who did the finish.... Andrewaward had it done.  It's great, very authentic.

The awards show was sooo bad!  there were technical problems throughout the whole show, 3 hours worth!  So awful.  It was the 20th Ann. so they tried to make it 'special'.  The local press will have tons of fun with that one....
And NO, we didn't win any of our categories  and I'm very fine with that  :)  We won local song of the year last year anyway.  They did blast our last single in the venue tonight, that was cool.

So I might talk to Johnny Marr on the phone tomorrow night!  I'll start a new thread in the Music section for that though.

I hope to have this beautiful Jag completed by Monday evening, I'll get back to you all very soon!

I can make just about any pickguard fit again, just ask zhivago.

His '61 was about the most warped and shrunk guard I'd ever seen and it turned out great.
it was Misty's guard...so '64, but yes, it fit very well after Doug's treatment on it!  8) 8) 8)

Yeah, i thought of that later. The '61 already had the guard on it when i sent it to you. In fact, I used the '61 body as a testbed for the '64 guard.

:)

Yeah, the finish is amazing!  Sure, I'll do that  :)  That would be great.

I just realised that I WON'T have this done by tomorrow because I still need a rhythm ckt BRACKET.  Oh well, it'll get completed very soon.

Good job, Michael! I think I actually have the pick-ups that came out of that body...they'll be in my jag project (which has been postponed a bit because I'm a bit put off by the fact I have to dowel the bridge post holes).

Good news, I got the pickguard to fit nicely :)
The AVRI pickups are... you know, they're okay...
It sounds great, definitely a bit less output, brighter & janglier than my 2 JMs.

I just ordered a pickguard shield and a rhythm ckt. bracket from GPR.  I've never had an issue with them, so far they've been 100%.
This is a fun guitar!  A vintage Jag for under a grand, well worth the effort :)
