The other guitarist had similarly cheap taste and I remember seeing a Hello Kitty Strat at one point, too, unless I'm very much mistaken.

i see the guitar player from Arcade Fire has been playing pretty much nothing but old Framus guitars, which you can pick up quite cheaply on this side.

example: the BL10 guitar in the Reflektor video clip - man i want one of those!

Last few times Peter Green went out on tour he played mainly JHS guitars, Fretkings, Vintage, Italia. It was very strange considering the guy once owned what is now one of the most expensive guitars ever sold at auction, but he seems unconcerned with such things, just plays whats at hand.
