What would your signature model guitar be like?
Soochdaddy's post in this thread reminded me of this ridiculously stupid thread I'd been thinking would be fun to start.
So have at it! No rules here, just one simple and silly question, interpret it whatever way you want:

Re: What would your signature model guitar be like?
I've played a lot of different guitars, but ultimately my signature guitar would probably end up being a Telecaster. It's the guitar I'm the most comfortable with and at the end of the day I always sound like myself on it.
It wouldn't be incredibly interesting though, probably just black w/black pickguard, maybe a P-90 instead of the regular pickup in the neck position, maybe not. I have a tendency to kick the shit out of my guitars though, so you might as well just buy the Joe Strummer telecaster and put "Steve Bailey" (not to be confused with the famous bass-player with his own signature gear.. d'oh!) on the back instead.
I like keeping it stock usually though

Mine would be boring....Just a plain old off the shelf AVRI Jazzmaster with a gold 'guard. (Of course, mine is the best AVRI I've ever played, IMO.)
Damn kids, get off my lawn!

it'd be just like my 78 Uni Hiflier, except with a tune-o-matic (still with a lot of space between the bridge and tailpiece). it would come in black or natural. It would come with a set of seymour duncan 1/4 lb JM pups

It's not about the gear! It's about you, your hands, your imagination, your feelings.

Either a sliiiiightly transparent black singlecut LP Special sans pickguard, or a white/rosewood Telecaster a b/w/b '69 thinline guard.

Fiesta red JM with maple fretboard and mint guard, no rhythm circuit, no tone knob.

Re: What would your signature model guitar be like?
* white guard telecaster
* super light ash body
* maple neck
* extremely thin nitro finish (in 50s style white blond or fiesta red)
* rio grande "muy" bridge pick up, "vintage tallboy" neck. (super hot bridge, low output neck, it's like channel switching in the guitar!)
* neck pick up wired to by-pass the tone control (tone control only works on the bridge pu)
* strap locks
* glendale compensated brass saddles
* electro-socket jack plate
basically a recreation of my current tele.

Re: What would your signature model guitar be like?
it would be this but super fender high quality and not squier. although a squier model would be excellent too. i could settle for that.

Re: What would your signature model guitar be like?
70s Jaguar with:
- WHRP (genuine repro) at the neck;
- no volume or tone controls;
- no rhythm circuit;
- a custom guard to make it less chromey;
- a Wattson Superfuzz circuit true bypassed in where the rhythm circuit should be;
- a Mastery bridge (I put TOM in - no Mastery option on the Dressing Room!);
- Thomastik 13s, roundwound.
This could come in either black or Inca Silver, I think....
