I did a redneck way of weighing it with my digital scale.
The difference between guitar on myself vs not is only 6.4lbs
When I saw the guitar at a local store, I noticed that it was considerably lighter than my other MIM Stratocasters, not that I've weighed them yet. that are both Alder bodies with maple neck/boards.

(The new one has a rosewood fingerboard) Does weight that sseem right?

That seems quite light. Not completely out of the question, but it seems like the scale is a bit off.

Nice guitar regardless.

I'll try to find a proper scale, but holding my alder vintera 57, and my 2010 FSR they're noticeably heavier.
