Welp, mine finally arrived.
It's...great. Setup out of the box wasn't even horrible (strings are a bit scratchy and old) but I was happy enough to plug straight in and ended up with a song/song idea (which seemed to turn into a post-rock-ish movie soundtrack sounding thing, which I have been trying to avoid...). Even the nut slots were cut pretty well so intonation on the lower frets is fine.
Pickups sound excellent and as described, NO mud but does the humbucker thing well. Neck pickup eminently usable and clear.
I haven't even attempted a restringing/full setup yet as I've been having fun playing it.
I can't see any finish issues though I mightn't necessarily have a detailed eye for that anyway. The finish colour itself is tremendous though - perfectly in between pink/purple and a beautiful metallic.
Sigh. Hopefully Mike finds his way back here.

Let’s hope. Congrats your new acquisition!
The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.
