I'm happy to add the green Swinger that I just finished up (and more neck pickups). That's a vintage Dimarzio K-10 humbucker and it's really good.

so i'm not the biggest fan of single pickup guitars BUT i feel if i had a 70's musicmaster with a WRHB in the neck, that would probably be my one pickup guitar.

Kick-ass, Swingers are such underrated Fender guitars.

I love these and I've always got my eye out for one.

Lots of great stuff in here.

Here's a Jackson Gojira Rhoads with a Charvel humbucker.

10/10.

Knowing you, that is. Me? I'd rather lose the bridge pickup than the neck on any Fender. I guess I'm more into style Fenders and LP Jr style Gibsons.

But the "bridge position only" guard definitely looks better on a JM than a Musicmaster-style one.

Although you may be pleased to see one of my guitars I'm almost done modding. It'll fit right in here.

Thanks Mike.

I actually will miss the neck pickup on it eventually...it is a wonderful sound on a JM. But this is my tool, my gigging weapon. Sleek and efficient is the key. It does force you to play more creatively with your right hand though, which is nice.

This does, however, give me a valid reason to grab a neck-pickup-only guitar to add into the hoard

Just one for me, but it's a good'un. '90s Epiphone Emperor Regent from the Peerless factory in Korea. Superb.

I've just got one too - Godin Kingpin.

It is a very, very nice guitar. I should play it more.
Those are awesome guitars. I had one without a pickup. Wish I had kept it.
Cheers, yes, they just seem to have thought about each bit of it really carefully and done the right thing.

Plus it makes fantastic woofy feedback noises with a bit of gain!
This is one of my dream guitars. I spent a summer in New Zealand where I'd go into the same guitar shop every day and the guy would let me play one of these for hours whilst we chatted. He knew I was living in a tent and was never going to buy, but he was cool about it.

That woofy thing, I get that with the Epiphone. I used to play it in a punky Tom Waitsey kind of group with a cranked Fender Champion 600 with an MBM Saltbooster for a bit extra when needed. It would howl. Certain notes just fucking bloomed and immediately exploded into harmonic screaming. An incredibly alive feeling instrument to play with. You would sometimes feel the whole thing vibrate, and feel the back panel buzzing on your belly. The whole thing screamed.

Never did get the hang of playing jazz on it...

If only one pickup, it must absolutely be the neck pick up for me.

I haven't really posted pics of this one yet, since I wanted to redo to nut first, but what the hell.

The HB is a JB copy with a series/parallel mini toggle, volume, and killswitch. Finish is Kiwi green nitro over Ash.

With my previously posted Swinger copy:

Sigh... Every time I see that Swinger, my heart skips a beat :-*

The Performer is pretty cool too.
