Allow me to brag

I went on a guitar run yesterday. offerup was good to me.
I picked up a Sergova/Teisco/Awai '68 Semi hollow body....40 bucks. It is all there but the bridge. PU's work, as do the pots/switches/tuners/wang bar.
Then, I drove cross town and got a First Act "Dragon guitar" (ME4016 with a silkscreened phoenix on the body). 20 bucks! The guy wanted 30, but I fixed his Epi (bad wire), and he said "take it". I had to give him the 20 just to ease my conscience, and was rewarded with a turn of the karma wheel......I won VW guitar on ebay. Open box, with the original box, case, and picks 75 bucks, and 40 shipping.
They have a ton of sold listings for these around the 2-300 mark. Funny thing was, he had it listed at 75 with a "make offer". I offered him 90 just to get it, and he said "I changed my mind, I want to let the auction run out, I know I'll get way over a hundred for it." then he cancelled my make offer. I then bid the opening bid, $75......and NO ONE ELSE BID ON IT. (weird considering I have been trying to get one of these for a year, and they always get bid up beyond what I wanted to pay).
Go ahead- let me have it about the First Act guitars. I own an Adam Levine 222, (single humbucker, 25" scale) and once I set it up right (you HAVE to shim the neck so the ill designed bridge will work), it plays great, and sounds better than my Epi SG VE.
Don't tell anyone these First Act guitars are any good, I want to continue buying them for 20-30 bucks each.
