I found this MIM Telecaster on Reverb for a good price and decided to give it a try. I am working on doing some different humbucker telecasters and this one had what I wanted pretty much stock. I planned on changing out the pickup ring and bridge pickup, but after playing it when it arrived, I really like it stock. The stock pickups are really good sounding. It has coil splitting with the tone pot which sounds great also. All I need is strap locks. I might stain the fretboard to darken it. That rosewood substitute is pretty light. The alder wood used in the body is pretty cool. Interesting figuring in parts. The tummy cut is also nice.
