For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

Bring back the U.S. made B.C. Richs. I've wanted a dual P Mockingbird bass forever.
I was checking one out a few years back. It was hot shit, but spendy.
I've wanted a neck thru mockingbird guitar with cloud inlays for ages. I really like those. People shit on BC Rich, but they have their charm, especially the real early ones.
This is an excellent rectangle

The vintage B.C. Richs are super expensive, there's no way I could ever justify getting one. But those old Mockingbird and Eagle basses are so f'ing nice. I was just looking around and assumed they were U.S. but looks like some of the output may have been Japan too.

I think Donald Trump has something to do with all of this.
"Guitar-based music is on the way out. Guitars aren't selling as well, etc. ."
From the Trump playbook, what you're supposed to do is 'double-down' and go right against the grain, hence the return of the shred. I suggest you all invest in environment-destroying Aqua-net hairspray stock.

Make Guitars Shred Again.
Makes sense, 80's nostalgia is all the rage everywhere from music to economic and environmental policy.

I nearly bought one of the (non-US/recent) Mockingbird neck-through things; newer BC Riches actually come with a *particularly* great setup. Wound up with my Soloist instead (price worked better.) But... The best choice was a Koa Musicman Petrucci Sterling I found a week later.
King Buzzo: I love when people come up to me and say “Your guitar sound was better on Stoner Witch, when you used a Les Paul. “...I used a Fender Mustang reissue on that, dumbass!

I'd be pretty happy to have one of these Fernandes/Burny jobs, too. It's totally an absurd and tasteless guitar, but I love it.
