Re: Reverend Guitars Experiences
Double Agent and Sensei Jr. need wraparound bridges. The TOMs don't work visually.
You know what, the more I look at their model overview, the more I think that actually a lot of their line-up would benefit from non-TOM-bridges. Visually, that is.

A friend of mine had one, It was a Jet-Stream IIRC.
I took the contour and decided to have a Lefty clone build by an amateur luthier pal, but in the Charger shape (less pointy at the upper horn).
Here name : SuperCharger...
Still under construction... Since 3 years !

I concur. The TOMs just look wrong.thenewromance wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 2:28 amDouble Agent and Sensei Jr. need wraparound bridges. The TOMs don't work visually.

Re: Reverend Guitars Experiences
That one isn't particularly nice I'd agree, but I like the non anniversary ones, particularly the all black one or metalic green. However, of all the itterations, I think the Double Agent III Is the one I'd go for though.BoringPostcards wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 2:13 amWhich double agent model?
The Double Agent OG is the ugliest mismatch of ideas I’ve ever seen.

I think the Reeves Gabrels Dirtbike works:

That's gorgeous.
I've always like how Reverends play and sound, but their aesthetics just aren't up my alley. Or at least weren't, until I saw that thing. Nice design!

same. I have some railhammer pickups in my Les Paul, and it really brought the guitar to life. the alnico grande is a Duncan JB killer.

I have a couple of reverends and they are excellent quality guitars, both the USA and the Korean.
I keep eyeing their Wattplower bass.

Re: Reverend Guitars Experiences
I’m with everyone else. I don’t like the way they look, (sometimes I’m on the fence) but I can’t argue that they aren’t solid instruments. Every one I’ve felt in a shop was solid. If I lost my gear and was on a budget and needed something that worked I’d grab one in a heart beat. They’re born to be work horses imo.

Their guitars have always felt really solid to me, when I've messed with them. I just wish they made the Jenn Wasner signature lefty

I just got a Slingshot intending to flip it but it's pretty excellent. It's got the good parts of Dano and Fender plus P90s. It has a large, clean sound.

If I was a byrd, I'd be mighty sore every time they shut the door and I don't think I'd sing...
