The rosewood board is kind of streaky and the shade of the headstock is lighter than the body and I'm not a dirty hippie...

It's also ugly as sin and horrendously overpriced.
Apart from all of the above, yeah, it's great (?!?!?!?!)

If you're buying it just because you want to buy something I don't think it's going to bring you much pleasure beyond its arrival and the short-lived chit-chat you'll get from a NGD post.
It's a parts telecaster, and I highly doubt it's one of those temple of tone examples.

If you need to be talked out of buying that, I'm not sure what to tell you.
"Don't buy it", I guess.

I'm not a dirty hippie...
As stated, over priced by twice what it's worth... in my opinion.

Not even just trying to play along here, that thing is ugly as sin I actually said “no fucking way” out loud when I saw the price. Put it towards something else.

Buy a CV Tele and give the $600 in savings to a good charity. Everyone will be better off, especially you.

It looks cool, but it really seems to be overpriced. Offer them $500 and come up to $600 (with shipping), if you really want it.

.
It has it's charms. I didn't read the description but the logo is off location on the headstock and it has two string trees -- often marks of Squier neck disguised as a Fender. Same with the body (ask what thickness the body is, if 1.5in then Squier, 1.75in then Fender maybe).
You could buy a MIM, and a kit body, to ink your own designs on and swap it.

For that kind of money you can buy like 80 used budget guitars from CL & go down as an admired legend on SquierTalk for the largest NGD haul in history.

It reminds me of those adult coloring books I see at the grocery checkout.

I'm not actually going to buy it (no more guitars any time soon) but I do like the hand drawn goofiness of the art.
As far as price, it's cheaper on their own site but I don't think it's extreme. If you're one of the select few who does like the finish - $200 Musikraft neck, $250 in small parts/pickups/etc., $150 for the body, $100 for the neck finish alone. In 6 more months they'd probably be willing to bargain down to $800-850.
