Yup, possessions can weigh you down. I actually enjoyed my Tele more when it was worth less! The cases fetch £1k now and every time I open it a bit more hardboard crumbles away. Not that it isn't a privilege spending time with it . I confess it was at least a decade i preferred it to my JM.

Edit for TMI specific to my cars but I'm much the same with old cars.
Btw what's an HG car? That car is not worth hundreds of thousands of dollars (unless it's an ugly af Speedster) maybe closer to 50 or 60 if it's perfect and certainly less than 100. It's a cabrio which is less desirable than a coupe and it's GP white which in my experience isn't a sought after colour. Even RS's struggle to fetch hundreds of thousands in the real world, even though I was buying 964's for ten grand five or six years ago and now they are priced at near the price of a new 911.
